1. The agreement
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and Zippit Casa, Inc. (“Zippit”, “we”, “us”). By creating a Zippit account or booking a service through the platform you accept these Terms.
2. What Zippit is
Zippit is a managed marketplace that connects homeowners (“Customers”) with independent licensed service professionals (“Pros”). Zippit sets the platform price for each service, verifies pros, mediates disputes, and handles payment. Zippit is not itself a contractor and does not perform services directly.
3. Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a contract to use Zippit. You are responsible for the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. You agree to provide accurate information at sign-up and to keep your contact information current.
4. Bookings, pricing, and payment
Every service has a fair fixed platform price that is shown before you book. You authorize Zippit to charge your stored payment method for the full amount on completion of the job. Add-ons quoted on site (for example, additional rooms or unanticipated parts) are charged the same way only after you approve them in the app.
5. Satisfaction guarantee
If a completed job does not meet our quality standard, contact us within 72 hours of completion and we will either re-do the work at no additional cost or refund you. Cosmetic preferences and items outside the original job scope are not covered.
6. Cancellations
You may cancel a booking at no charge up to 4 hours before its scheduled start. Inside that window a $25 platform fee may apply to compensate the pro for lost capacity. No-shows are billed the full amount.
7. Conduct
You agree not to harass, discriminate against, or threaten any pro or Zippit employee, and not to ask a pro to perform work that is unsafe, unlicensed, or outside Zippit’s scope. Doing so will result in account termination.
8. Liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Zippit’s aggregate liability for any claim related to a booking is limited to the amount paid for that booking. We carry general liability coverage on every job — see Trust & safety for details.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced by email or in-app at least 30 days before they take effect.
