Zippit
Privacy policy.
Last updated May 10, 2026
Zippit Casa, Inc. takes your privacy seriously. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how you control it.
What we collect
- Account data — name, email, phone number, and the service address you book against.
- Booking data — services you book, photos or videos you attach to a job, ratings you leave, and chat messages with your pro.
- Payment data — tokenized card details handled by our PCI-compliant payment processor (Stripe). Zippit never stores raw card numbers.
- Device & usage data — IP address, device type, and basic interaction events that help us debug issues and improve the product.
How we use it
We use your information to deliver the service: matching you with a pro, processing payment, sending booking confirmations and reminders by SMS, surfacing relevant maintenance reminders, and resolving disputes. We do not sell your data.
Who we share with
- The pro assigned to your booking receives your first name, the booking address, and the job details — and nothing else.
- Sub-processors that run the platform: Stripe (payments), Twilio (SMS), Supabase (database), Vercel (hosting), and Anthropic (Zippi AI). Each is bound by a data-processing agreement.
- Law enforcement only where required by a valid legal request.
Your choices
You can export or delete your account at any time from Account settings. Deleting your account removes personal data within 30 days, except where retention is legally required (e.g. tax records).
Retention
We keep booking and payment records for seven years to satisfy tax and accounting obligations. Identifiable account data is removed within 30 days of deletion. Anonymized usage data may be retained indefinitely to improve the product.
